The short version: we don't collect anything. Vaelora has no analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, and no tracking of any kind.

The app

Vaelora runs entirely on your Mac. Your documents, styles, and settings never leave your computer — the app doesn't send your data anywhere, and everything it renders happens locally. We can't see what you write, and we wouldn't want to.

Checking for updates

Once a day, and whenever you choose "Check for Updates…", the app fetches one small file from dl.vaelora.app to see whether a newer version exists. The request carries nothing about you or your documents — no identifier, no account, no usage data — and our host's short-lived server logs are all that record it, exactly as if you had opened the download page in a browser.

This website

This site uses no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard, short-lived server logs — such as IP addresses of requests — to serve the site and defend it against abuse, as every host does. We don't use them to identify or track you.
